What an incredible way to take in the stunning landscape that is the high country. Sensational team and a super cute puppy 🐶 named Wednesday, that took care of everything. From equipment to a home cook delicious soup for lunch on the riverbank.
The guide made sure we were always well prepared for the exhilarating white waters ahead. Thank you Australian rafting.

Just absolutely brilliant! Smithy, Tracey and their team provide the most amazing rafting experience in the Mitta Mitta wilderness. It doesn't get any better. Our guides were Smithy (the Legend), Canadian Dave (the young Master) and of course Charlotte (the Magnificent). A truly amazing experience. Thanks team from Rafting Australia - you're the best at what you do :-)

Way too much fun. We all came home exhausted but happy. The staff were friendly and knew the area well.

Me and my 2 teenage kids rafted on 4-Dec-2021 along the Mitta Mitta river. The rafting was well organised and ran smoothly. Our guide Sharlotte was really friendly and engaging, it was obvious that she is an experienced guide and knew the river well. Right at the last part of the trip after the rapids she gave my 16 year old daughter some lessons on navigating the river and commanding the the rafting team. Definitely recommend Rafting Australia

Due to restrictions brought about by Covid lockdowns it’s not been possible to join ‘Smithy” Tracey and the team to raft down the Mitta Mitta for the past 18 months but that’s all changed, “Smithy’ and his team are back in business. The Mitta Mitta is at a level that affords excellent conditions for rafting, combine that with paddling through pristine wilderness country, some challenging rapids, the expertise of “Smithy and his team you could not want for a better way to spend a day or two. I have just returned from what would be my 10th annual rafting trip with “Smithy” , he is an excellent guide with many years of experience , has unsurpassed knowledge of the river , he ensures all safety measures are carried out and does his utmost to ensure everyone enjoys their experience on the river. He selects only the best river guides ( Callum, Charlotte and Ash ) to assist him so you can be confident the very high standards he aims for are met by which ever guide you are with on the trip. It’s an experience that caters for a very wide age range from youngsters to seniors such as myself. Main aptitude for this experience is a love of the outdoors and the thrill of being on some fast-flowing white water.

An amazing fun experience, provided by a truly professional team !
The rafting, scenery, lunch & everything else that went with it, was first class.
All 4 of the guides were excellent, but a special mention to Charlotte who was a standout !!
Its no surprise that you receive such good reviews !!

Started the day with lots of rain but by the time we got to the river, the skies had opened up and glorious weather most of the day. Had a great time and really well looked after by all the Team- starting from the safety instructions, the gear and on the raft. Very professional, skilled and caring, and a great sense of humour. Very much enjoyed the passage down the river, the Rapids and thankfully stayed on the raft for the whole duration!
Thank you to all the Mitta Mitta Crew. You did a fantastic job looking after us and making sure we made the most of our experience on the river.

I was on the 30th Oct one which is a full day Mitta mitta gorge trip. The day started at 9.30am and finished at 6pm. It makes for a long day but if you love nature along with whitewater rafting you can't go wrong. The second half is the best.
I give 4 only because it took a bit too long to get started on the actual journey.
The drive to launch area is breathtaking through winding roads. Take your camera if allowed on the bus. That is another thing I think they should have allowed in our trip. It does get a bit busy at times which is ok.
Tracy made us warm muffins at the start which was yummy. The guides 2 beautiful ladies and Smithy, were great fun, they made sure we were safe and we knew what to do when. Lunch spot is lovely.
All in all it was absolutely fantastic. Must do at least once.
I will be back.

The whole day was fantastic. We had a beautiful sunny day on the water, slight breeze. Guides were very skilled. Friendly, supportive. Lunch and morning tea was delicious. Beautiful scenery. Highy recommend

Such a great day!!!
Meeting at Rafting HQ just 10mins from Omeo, we were safety briefed and kitted up before jumping in the van and heading off to the river.
I had tried rafting once before in NZ, but was otherwise a complete novice. I had nothing to worry about thou. Following Smithies instructions, we rafted 19 kms down some really cool rapids unscathed!
Two in our boat had many hours of experience on the water and also had a ball. The knowledge and skills the Au Rafting team has makes the day awesome no matter your experience level.
We had the best weather even though the forecast was rotten and Smithie can read the weather as well as he can read the river. I was worried about being cold in August but I was so wrong!! Heart pending and muscle working, I was super warm in all the gear supplied.
I enjoyed every aspect; the fun rapids as well as the scenery; just beautiful.
Charlotte got some amazing photos for us and Traceys lunch spread was just beautiful!
I would love to get back soon! Thanks gang!!
