As part of our fall New England/Canada cruise we had the privilege of going to Peggy's Cove. The ride up was lovely, including passing the home of the famous painter and Peggy's Cove was picture perfect. Well worth the side-trip.

The author of the book "Peggy of the Cove" will take you thru a tour of his parent home. To say the author is a little different is saying you will enjoy the tour. I price is also right-Free.

The man that owns this place is very nice, talkative and an excellent artist. Lots of places to park and you walk up into the main gallery. A must see if you're in the area.

I believe there will be bus transportation from your ship otherwise you will have to go by car. There is no regular bus route yet. It is about 24 miles outside of Halifax, your cruise would have sailed quite close to it... More
