Spent a good couple of hours here and our young son enjoyed seeing all the different animals. But there was only one alpaca which seemed strange considering the name of the attraction.
All the animals looked well cared for and in decent enclosures. But yet again Thailand has missed an opportunity! With the lack of tourism for the past couple of years or so, why has basic maintenance been lacking. Then was the chance to tidy everything up, a lick of paint etc. Not only here but many other attractions and even hotels/resorts look tired. And I live in Thailand!
Alpaca Hill is okay but could be even better.

Alpaca HILL one place in Bangkok that you must go. you will never forget the memory here. I came here only because alpacas .. looking for a birthday present myself here, and I do not regret it. very happy to be here. I am very lucky, I welcomed the arrival of the Alpaca Hill. All the staff are very friendly, kind and very helpful. Thanks to the staff named 'BIRD' she helped me a lot .. because of him, I can come to Alpaca Hill. Not to forget the 'Mr.phang', and his girlfriend, also staff 'Dey Dey' give VIP service to me.
I would definitely come back here with friends and family.

Today went to Alpaca Hill at Suan Phueng and felt that this place is a place very suitable for family with kids. It is a open farm with many different animals and pets suitable for kids to feed, cuddle and pat. The only thing is there are lots of small files flying around but they don't bite or cause any itchness.
Yon can get a activities sheet and go around to stamp at every station after completion.
There are many animals which i didn't see or hear before and its a eye opening for me too. Due to rushing to other place, I didn't get to complete the whole course but I will be back again with my kids.

My family went there when it newly opened years ago. They were so impressed and wanted to re-visit the place.
Sadly, all the charms had gone. There is only 1 old Alpaca sitting in front of an electric fan. But, yes, there is an Alpaca and a hill.
One of the owls is old and he should be cared for. Most of the animals seemed to be in good shape but lack the variety and numbers.
The hobbit houses are just for photo op. Feel sad for the place because there are so much potential. The entrace seemed grand and exciting but the place is disappointing. It seemed to be lacking in maintenance too.
As the tourists are coming back in the area, it could have add more animals, more activities. It was such a great place many years ago.

Suan Phung district in the province of Ratchaburi is an area bordering Myanmar. This district is a Thai favorite because it holds a definite western flavor due to its pleasant climate and green landscape. Our aim was to meet alpaca. We fed, touched and hugged them in Alpaca Hill (First and only alpaca breeding farm in Thailand). This open zoo houses various tame and cuddly animals too. There are 25 animal stations, we collected the stamps for each station, at the end of the tour which lasted for 2 hours, we received souvenir- alpaca fur. The animals here include snowy owl, hamster, guinea pig, cavy hairless, peacock, bambi, ostrich, alpaca, cockatoo, prairie dog, marmoset, rabbit, sugar glider, hedgehog, ferret, Patagonian mara, capybara, tortoise, wallaby, goose, swan, flamingo, chinchilla, Persian cats, and sheep.
We purchased the normal VIP ticket Thai Baht 290 per adult inclusive of the orange lanyard and tag, and a recycled bag. We paid extra Thai Baht 100 for the long beans used to feed alpaca. Throughout the visit, we had the opportunity to feed various animals. Our tour guide, Mr Sunny was friendly and able to converse with us in English. Since Alpaca Hill is a local favorite, it is good to have someone that able to speak English to expand its market to the foreign tourists. There is a souvenir shop, toilet, a snack and drink shop named Alpaca Bristo and several drink stalls inside the farm.

This place is so worth the drive! Not only the drive is very picturesque but also the place itself is great!
The prices for tickets start from 390b per adult which includes everything you need if you come with small children: petting, feeding, photo taken.
The place is clean, very well maintained and all animals are looked after.
We loved it and I would highly recommend to visit it:)))

This is a most excellent attraction for the kids with budget-minded parents. There are 24 stations around the property where different kinds of animals can be seen, admired, fed and petted. There are ducks, swans, chickens, pigs, cats, horses, and exotic animals like owls, cockatoos, capybaras, peafowl, wallabies, and maras. The facility is kept very clean and you have to put on plastic bags over your shoes and walk through disinfectant to move through the pens and holding areas. The complete circuit including a maze at the end can be walked comfortably in half a day. There are different fee levels. The basic entrance fee per child for the complete circuit is only 290THB.

How can I arrange transport to and from Bangkok Pratunam area to Alpacahill?

Alpacahill
Suan Phueng, Thailand
There is no direct public transport to the farm; it’s about 190 kilometers from Bangkok taking about 2.5 hours by car. Best mode of transportation is taxi; it’s advisable as a 1 day trip leaving early morning and will be arriving back in Bangkok in the evening. You can also plan several other stops along the way back.
