My Husband and I visited the turtle conservation center yesterday and had the place to ourselves, I get the impression it is being renovated to open to tourism a bit more, the tanks are not the biggest or prettiest to look at but the work...More

Located on a Thai naval base, don’t be put off by the security. There are lots of turtles but I am not sure they are particularly happy, crammed in rather small tanks seems a little harsh but I guess they are doing their best for...More

Myself and my partner visited this conservation centre after seeing good reviews on trip advisor. Unfortunately it’s the complete opposite to what the reviews were saying! The centre is located in what looks like a building site, and it’s sad to see the state of...More

Centre has a range of turtles from those a week old up until 1 year+. Option to feed some of the older turtles for a small fee. There’s a tank for the injured/sick turtles too. Well worth the money and worth spending 60-90 mins.

We visited here as part of another trip but it was worth it. A centre that is clearly seeking to raise awareness and protect the local turtles in the area. You can actually feed some of the turtles which the kids should enjoy. There are...More

We are scuba divers and stopped by to see what they are doing for the marine life. They are breeding and rehabilitating many turtles. If you can afford to donate even a few dollars (50baht) is helpful to them.

Was lovely to see the turtles up close, they do release them when they are 6 months old to increase turtle population. It doesn't take long to see, 1/2 hour but worth a look. You can see the memorial of the tsunami at this spot...More

This is a small conservation centre on a naval base with a nominal entrance fee. On arrival an English speaking member of staff was keen to show us the tanks with the turtles in, giving us information about where they come from and how they...More
