Not far from Nakhon Si Thammarat and a pleasant drive into the mountains. Lots of little restaurants near the river that made it very pleasant on a typically hot day.

It's about 30-40 mins driving from Mueang district, Nakhon Si Thammarat. People are nice and laid back. Clean air and road.

If you are interested what to do with mango, you have to see that little place in Lan Saka. From Soup, to clothes or coloring in batik to food conservation like marmalade. Lovely place and people.
