Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is the tip of a 70 km panhandle that stretches along the coastline and juts into Cambodia. The terrain is so narrow that only one road can be used for through travel!
Ban Hat Lek border market is at the easternmost border of the lengthy southeastern tail of Trat province. Here, we spent 45 minutes strolling around the lively market, bought some souvenirs, enjoyed the sea breeze and a beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand. There are also cheap products from Cambodia selling here.

Went here December 2014 3.5hours by car from pattaya city. It's got the lot and it's so big you can rent a scooter to get around on and great fun it was too. Cola served in a clear plastic bag with a straw very handy hang it on your bike and doesn't spill. Worth a look.

There are endless markets in Thailand and this is one although there did seem to be some things available that I haven’t seen before.
Let me be transparent. I’m not a shopper and never have been. So I could be wrong on this assessment but my lady companion seemed happy enough and even I did see a few things rpthat I havnt seen before.
I’m not sure if this is worth a special trip but if you’re in that area it might be worth a visit.

It's only a shadow of itself, compared to what it was before.
You can get all the usual Chinese made stuff as you can get all over S.E. Asia - a bit cheaper if you can haggle that is. I bought 2 bottles of , as it shoved, fake gin so beware.....
