We stopped in to Epiritu Santu for the plantation tour. I had no idea what to expect. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip so far. José is clearly passionate about all aspects of coffee and held us in rapt attention for...More

Throughout the tour, you get to experience how Coffee is made. The tour guides are really funny and are very great at explaining everything. I do recommend this tour to anyone trying to learn more about coffee, because you really do learn a lot.

With a visit to Costa Rica on our cruise we felt it was a must do to visit a coffee plantation. This was time well spent. The guide English was brilliant, the context explicit enough without being too scientific and over whelming. We tasted 4...More

Yes, there are. I don't remember the exact amount but I think it was around $20-$25 per person? It was definitely worth it for the amount of time they spent with us. You should figure in a tip for the tour guide as well.
