This place was very disappointing. They call it a museum but it was just a store. A store that sells a lot of weed. I get that museums want to have a gift shops but this was simply a store with a short museum visit. Not a place I’d recommend.

Dream666, When you visit a place you have to be sure where to go, you enter in a wrong direction you you do not enter to the MUSEO entrance, you when to the Store entrance. At the Museum you need to request a guide, free of charge, to explain about the History of the Theobroma Cacao, you didn't request any, so please be more careful when you write a review on TripAvisor. Also you don't learn in this visit that the weed that we sell is Medicinal creams, tictures, oils, and is legal in Colombia. The Store sell authentic gift from the Kogys, Aruacos, Wiwas and Alsairos cultural indigenous etnias Be more serious, and do not hide your real name wit a Pseudo-name Dream12345678900987654321 People lake you, making and incorrect reviews, are destroying TripAvisor reputation. This place was amazing! I showed up by myself hoping to learn a little bit about how coffee is made and left with a minor in cacao-ology. Alberto was extremely knowledgeable about the process from the farm to the final product and his passion for it shines through. Tours in English & Spanish.
I did a complementary honey liquor shot on my way out and left a happy customer ,with some fine coffee/chocolate products that I am enjoying right now back home in Canada.
My only question is how do I remain a remote-customer?
Thanks for your hospitality. Cheers.

If you're into cacao : drop by this shop.
You will find raw cacao to make the traditional hot chocolate, some honey with cacao, some raw cacao bean. You don't like chocolate ? no problem there's also some coffee, some chilly sauce etc .. nice spot for presents !

Our tour group G Adventures sat and listened to a wonderful presentation on the history and uses of cacao(chocolate). It was a hands on display of how the natural candy is made without white sugar. Very healthy and tasty! Enjoyed a cup of hot cacao and bought some cacao nib honey. There were many other products for sale.

Una opinión fuera de tono que no se ajusta a la realidad! La pizza se hace en Horno cuando el cliente la pide, no se congela como dice ese Señor. Por lo tanto su opinión no es validera para nuestro negocio. Cordialmente Mr. KAKAW

After a long day of hiking we went there as we heard their pizza was great and we were starving.
Not only was the pizza amazing, but also the service was super friendly and we ended up talking to Kakaw who gave us a free tour of the place. He talked us through the 5 Cs, gave me some cream for my knee as he noticed I was limping and we had many laughs. The shop with their self made products is worth a visit, there‘s rolling tobacco, too, and no fee if you‘re paying by card!
Just perfect!:)

There is not really something to see here. If you want to learn and see how a coffee is produced, I recommend to visit La Victoria

Otro comentario absurdo escrito por una persona ignorante, buscando una "Fábrica de Café en un una Fábrica de Cacao en Minca". Es como buscar granos de Café en un árbol de Theobroma Cacao. There are so many crazy person in our lovely Planet! Cordially Mr.Kakaw
