Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We purchased the $15 Super Session where it was supposed to be 2 hours of unlimited play on all video machines i.e. excluding the ticket machines for which you received 5 tokens to play. But as it turns out, that deal is quite untrue.
To begin, be aware there is such limited choice of gaming here because it is a tiny little place. On our visit, at least three machines were not working or dysfunctional. The major draw card, at least for our clan, was the car racing game which for no reasonable explanation, was not included. Air Hockey also not included. And there are no pinball machines here. A coupe of the games just locked up and froze mid game and had to be reset by one of only two staff, teenagers, one of which was so surly that simply answering a question was too much effort.
We were left then with a smattering of fairly ho-hum games, most of which would not normally be of interest. For mine, it was simply not good value. Paying outright for the games we wanted to play would have actually been cheaper. I left less than impressed with the whole experience.
I might recommend this only for parents who need an electronic baby sitter for a couple of hours with kids who are not too fussed what they are doing. For more enthusiastic gamers though, it is unlikely to entertain them for long. Meh.

It was an overall fun experience although the excitement was dulled as many of the games/machines were out of order. A fun place to take older kids but will not fill up too much time as their is not a very large selection of games that work. The tickets are handed out pretty fairly and I have found that you can usually get a cheap gimmicky prize or a lolly for a few tickets.

Purchased Super Session for $15 and gave $20 note to staff and then was forgotten about, asked for my change back and they handed me a $5 note with no other explanation on how to play. Asked for the manager and she was extremely rude and no help. Ended up asking for my money back as I could see most machines were out of order and the store was filthy.

Is it safe for 12 year olds? Any bullies or nuisance groups?
Written 18 February 2018
Not that I have seen. Too many broken machines so the bullies would not bother. 12 yo and below are probably the happiest groups here, because Intencity has a lot of ticket machines to win mostly useless junk
