A really good spot for whale watching where the whales come up pretty close with lots of action from the whales. It was a lovely spot for the views and assessible for wheelchairs and strollers at the lower lookout. Worth a visit and quieter spot...More

Captain Cook Lookout is considered one of the best places to watch the humpback whale migration with whales often being sited very close to the headland. I have personally looked down on a pod of whales close enough that you can hear them. Even without...More

Great lookout. We had a clear day so could see Sydney. Not many whales though. Parking can be sparse at the lookout.

Went up here to look for whales. Saw some from a distance, but not very close up. Was told later I should have been there in the morning. Them are the breaks I guess.

An amazing experience. You can walk or drive as there is plenty of car parking available. This lookout is 1.5km from the Copacabana shops and is easy to find thanks to the good sign-posting

Stumbled on the lookout by accident, just amazing. If you have a fear of heights this might not be the best place for you, however well worth a look.

Best to drive up to it as quite a distance. Views to both Avoca, Copacabana and Mcmasters. No shade for a picnic

Beautiful look out with a view of coastline of Australia...its so pristine soothing yet so wild. We spent 30 minutes there to have a look at all the sides.
