Stumbled on the lookout by accident, just amazing. If you have a fear of heights this might not be the best place for you, however well worth a look.

Best to drive up to it as quite a distance. Views to both Avoca, Copacabana and Mcmasters. No shade for a picnic

Beautiful look out with a view of coastline of Australia...its so pristine soothing yet so wild. We spent 30 minutes there to have a look at all the sides.

Beautiful view of OZ coast. Seen in October with plenty whales out to sea. Can see from Newcastle to Sydney.

This lookout is just amazing, Being solo i spent a good 40 minutes admiring. Two areas for lookouts that i had discovered and one perfect spot for whale watching (which i had seen plenty of action!). A family destination i would recommend for those around the area.

Either a short drive or a long and hilly and steep walk from the bottom, great lookout. There is a 2nd lookout too nearby. If you are there at the right time, you can see the whales too!

Great lookout and can see Sydney Centre point tower on a clear day. And way up to Norah head North. Gosford council have at last spent alot of money on this lookout and have done a terrific job.

Wonderful walk uphill from Copacabana to an amazing location. The platform for whale watching is awesome.

Worth a trip up to Captain Cook Lookout where you get an amazing view and can see Palm Beach even in the distance. Great for seeing the whales migrate up the coast in the right months of the year. Saw some on the way last year.
