About
Scenic Rim Brewery and Cafe is a small family owned, Australian brewery from southeast Queensland’s Scenic Rim Region. As the name suggests, the Scenic Rim is known for its natural assets. With fresh air, clear water and natural ingredients, we can’t think of a better place to brew beer the brewery is situated in the 100 year Mount Alford General store. They have created a range of beers to celebrate the place and people we love! All their brews are named after larrikins, their story is our story and like all things country, they’re best shared over a couple of cold ones and a bite to eat”. The dedication of Mike and Wendy combined with their passion for quality products – both in the brewery and at the cafe – ensures an all round sensory experience, . Wendy’s Dutch heritage shines through in her cooking, perfectly pairing with their range of beer.

Great place for lunch surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Scenic Rim. The food on the menu leans towards German/Belgium with an Australian twist and is fresh and delicious. This is a boutique Brewery so all beers are brewed on site, hubby loves them.
The owners and staff are all friendly and love a chat. Live entertainment on the weekends.
Highly recommend a visit.

Absolute amazing place with great selection and variety on the menu for lunch. First time visit with friends and everyone came away very impressed. Selection of beers is quite unique for the beer drinkers.

Last time we were here was about five years ago and it was OK then. Not great but not bad. What a difference five years has made!
One big improvement over last time is the cover over the rear deck. Could have easily settled into my seat and had a few more delicious pale ales out there!
There was a sign on the way in apologizing in advance for any delays in service. No idea what that was referencing, we found the service to be very efficient. I'd barely put my phone away from ordering and we had drinks in front of us!
One thing we found last time was the menu was very meat based. I have no issue with that but my partner being vegetarian said her options were still a little limited. But, she was happy with what she could get.
Great spot, look forward to returning.

This brilliant little brewery has some interesting beer to rock your taste buds. They also offer fantastic meals. A must to call in and say hello to the friendly couple you own and run this brewery. Check out the way they have restored the historic building.

Great service, great food, great location and just a great place to be on a sunny QLD day. Bit slow getting us our seat but it was busy so will let them off for that. Oh and the beer is great as well!

Beautiful little craft brewery. Had the Bratwurst for lunch - matched perfectly with the craft beers. Great outlook from the back deck. Love this place.

Stopped here for lunch. Lovely drive from Beaudesert.
The food and service at this brewery was fabulous. I had a special, it was tasty and the serving was large enough for lunch. I would recommend the chico roll, or tasting platters.
The beer was cold and delicious.
Staff are attentive and friendly.

There are many accommodation options within a ten minute to 15 minute drive , please look at The old church B & B or Milford Country cottages otherwise please look at boonahtourism website for more options.
