I was born in Darwin so I've been to the park several times as a kid with friends, family and school. This is the first time I've been with my 3 year old and he loved it. The basic layout is the same but everything is well looked after and the staff are really friendly. The walks are short and easy to do especially for an active toddler. The train drivers asked us where we wanted to go and were really great at answering questions and pointing out interesting facts about the park. Even though they were busy with a lot of school kids that day ;). Definitely recommended the bird show and ray feeding. Be sure to take your hat, sunscreen and an ice block for cold water. If you time it right, see the aquarium or nocturnal house at the end of the day to recharge in the air-conditioning. The artwork scattered about the park is also a lovely addition.

Four day weekend with granddaughter and this park was always on our radar. Arrived just in time for the bird show with commentary by a lady who genuinely loved what she was doing and knew her stuff. Spoke at a level for all age groups to appreciate. The next two and a half hours had us walking through well thought out habitats for so much of Australia’s wildlife. A brilliant cross section of all Oz has to offer + more. Great for all ages. We didn’t make it to all the shows but I’ve no doubt they would have been presented by knowledgeable staff. We almost forgot we were exercising in the heat it was so good. Take water (although waters bubblers are positioned around the park), wide brimmed hat and wear walking shoes. We enjoyed that ice block at the end though!

This place sure knows how to ruin some well made plans. Cruised past on our way to visit Litchfield National park for the day. Kids wanted to stop in for a look. Me, not so much, have seen and done the animal thing. The price tag seemed steep too at $100 for a family. But the wife was as keen as the kids so we paid up. I have to say, I was impressed from the moment we walked in the door, fantastic staff and an excellent facility. Awesome little ‘train’ that carts punters around to the various ‘stations’. Did the nocturnal house and then off to the flight deck for the bird show. Now this is where the mind was officially blown, you have to see it to believe it. Whole family was absolutely captivated for 30 mins. Matt knew his stuff and turned on a first class show. Decided to have an early lunch at the cafe and wait for the fish feeding show. Here I am thinking fish feeding, how exciting can that be? But after having my mind blown at the flight deck, we were going to hang around and check it out. Wasn’t disappointed, the archer fish were incredible, and those big whip rays looked like they just wanted a big cuddle. Caught the train to a few other exhibits, aquarium was on point as well as the dingos. But by now, our day was done, but still had so much left in the park that we had not yet explored. If only the ticket allowed us to come back the next day to visit the missed destinations.
The day planned for Litchfield was a distant memory.
Well worth the entry fee, this place is amazing. Plan to spend a whole day here, it’s certainly not an in and out in an hour destination.

We went to the Territory Wildlife Park almost be mistake. It's a longish and slightly unnecessary story, so I won't get into it. But what a bonus our accidental visit was. Very very interesting. The staff are passionate about what they do. The displays are very interesting - the bird show probably the highlight, but that's a hard call. I learnt a lot. Probably the highlight of our overall trip to Darwin. An easy drive from Darwin (we hired a car). Can't fault and can't recommend highly enough.

Fantastic spread out park with lots of cool killer animals ( snakes, 4.5 m croc, spiders etc) cute wallabies, beautiful birds, dingoes, buffalo, emus, even a simulated Monsoon forest. It’s 7km
to walk around with lots of cool water refill stations and shady paths or you can hop in the bus that circles every hour.

Had an amazing time visiting today with my partner, almost didn’t have enough time to see everything. Such an amazing atmosphere and such excellent customer service supplies by employees Claire, Breanna, Mikey, Luke and Jess. Easily the best tourist attraction in the Northern Territory, such a shame it is so underfunded. Would highly recommend a visit on your next trip to Darwin.

Delightful wildlife park. Free flight bird show is excellent. The walk through aviaries are immersive and beautifully kept. Nocturnal house is large with a great array of species. They even have a freshwater aquarium, which is not all that common to see. Great place to see Aussie native species that aren't found in other parts of the country. Loads of cool signage if you're into that.

Cafe options are quite limited but we didn't go there for the food.
