I was there in June 2013, the place looks good quite selenar. I was lucky to be there before a loaded coach of teenagers so I had a few minutes of deserted landscape and peace to explore and photograph. It seems like a different planet,...More

We planned to visit here on our way to the coast and booked accommodation accordingly. We also added a few hours drive to our journey. Unfortunately when we arrived it had been raining so we weren't allowed to visit the reserve. With the larger site,...More

The slow eruption of gas and mud from 3km under the surface of the earth creates these volcanos. This is a geological anomoly, it's not a theme park. The volcanoes smell like methane. Free parking, pay for access. The unique nature of these consistent and...More

From a geological point of view this place is really awesome. But as a tourist attraction it may not offer enough for everyone. There are 2 sites: big ("paclele mari") and small ("paclele mici"). Everyone goes to the big ones, but the more beautiful and...More

Would be nice if people would be a bit more aware of one and another so everyone can experience this wonder of nature in a good way.

Amazing small volcano shaped structures of mud, caused by the eruption of mud and natural gases. The volcanoes are surrounded by pitoresque badlands so here is definitely the place for an interesting outdoor photoshoot.
