We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The large beach is safe for children. Nearby are a range of walks over the headlands and through bush. A dog friendly beach is situated on the other side of the headland.

This place is a wonderful spot. High tide is outstanding. A relaxing place to visit with a great morning coffee van in the school holidays.

This beautiful place is serene and spectacular. As the tide comes and goes the channels and reserve forever changes. This is a great place for families to enjoy.

Beautiful location that is great for everyone, especially families. Pet friendly but dogs have to be kept on a leash. About 10 minutes south of Coffs so not so busy.

Great place for younger kids to play around in the water and sand. Picnic tables available under the trees in grass area. This is a caravan/ cabin type area for anybody wanting to stay here.
Little bushwalk also as you cross the bridge.

Enjoyed our bush walk out to the Lighthouse, not particularly long or strenuous but amazing views both ways of the great coastline beaches. The walk out across the sand flats to the ocean is lovely if not a little hard on the feet, so runners or thongs would be the go.

We visited on a warm, rainy afternoon. The kids played on the sand and then we walked across the creek to get to the ocean beach. The water was flowing slowly and it was an easy crossing. We played in the waves near the shore and then headed back across the creek to explore the bush area a little, crossing over the bridge and going for a walk. All areas of the reserve felt safe and were full of interesting things to look at. There's plenty of places to walk and explore, or canoeing is possible on the creek. Even in the rain it was a beautiful place and we'd definitely return to spend more time here

This spot is the perfect place for dog walks and water activities. There are also BBQ facilities, kid's playground and sufficient parking for day visitors.
