Pictures will NEVER do justice to the beauty of this place. The trees are amazing! Even the small ones are huge! Hiking through the Redwoods gives you a new perspective. And...if hiking is too much, you can drive through a Redwood.

There is parking space inside the Red Wood Park.We went in a bus and it was parked inside the parking area.Washroom facility is not good. I have no idea about car rental company in that area.

Difficult to answe this question,---whether there will be snow in the forest or not.However chances are less in October.
