This is a short beach in a small town that has many dirt streets, and not many places to stay. It is near the bus station in Santa Elena, so you could take a quick visit if you are nearby.

I'd recommend going north of Montanitas up the coast where it can get a bit green! Olon is lovely. This far south is not very scenic, the town is unappealing, and the land is dry and dusty.
