Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A small and dull city into the route to Mestia. I'm still shocked about the huge diference you will find in Georgia beetwen Tbilisi and the rest of the country (thats include Kutaisi too). Basic Georgia is one town and a lots of other small town where life seems to have ended. But I hope in time all this will change and town like Zgdidi will flourish because they have a lot of potential into the area.

Really nice place in the middle of the town. Traffic goes around in a one-way system. The park in the middle is much better recommended than the overrated botanical garden.

On our way from Svaneti to Kutaisi, we had a one night stopover in Zugdidi. We loved it, although the main attraction (palace) was closed because of elections. The market was lovely and people very welcoming. We could check in at any time, the woman at the bakery didn't want me to pay for a traditional bread. Nobody bothers us and as we had to buy a special sunglasses, the guy in the store was very patient using Google translate.
Loved the place and far better than to drive the long drive from Mestia to Kutasi in one day.
Of course some buildings are very 'old', but intriguing especially with the big Dutch truck in front.

I was dropped off at the end of Zugdidi Boulevard when I took a marshrutka from Batumi and before getting a taxi to the Enguri bridge. The street is modern and wide with plenty of trees. I wouldn't say it's a tourist attraction of itself, but it's nice enough.

We went here straight from kutaisi airport as a stopover before our trip to Mestia. Around 19.00-20.00 whole the city comes to chill. Lot of youngsters flirting to each other. On Sunday we had even live music (atmosphere was great, quality of singing so so).

Relatively small for the boulevard but shady enough to get away from August heat in Zugdidi. One should be careful even on the pedestrian crossing. There are couple of local monuments and fountain. You may walk it through easily in quarter of an hour. The place relatively clean and has benches to sit in a shade.

There's a park in the middle of the boulevard, but otherwise there's not much to see here. The market is in of the the nearby streets.
