Some 3500 years old carvings in granite rocks. Warriors, footprints, boats, etc. Information boards provide helpful explanation what the different signs may mean. E.g. footprints may be symbols of gods looking down on worshippers. Boats may be symbols of journeys to the kingdom of death....More

Whilst staying on the West Coast, we visited this world heritage site, showing rock carvings from the Bronze Age. They had been filled with resin in order for the drawings to be seen clearly.
