We saw dolphins several times. The cruise is very reasonably priced ($10). The cruise passes thru an industrial port of ugly & rusty old buildings. The commentary was very informative and enthusiastically tried to make the sights interesting like the crumbling pier of the former...More

This tour represents good value for minimal cost. Lunch/snacks are available, but you can choose to just do the cruise for a very reasonable $10 per adult. Whilst the scenery is not spectacular by any means, there is an informative commentary, with many points of...More

Dolphin Explorer Cruises run excursions along the Port "River" coastal inlet. I have done the tour a number of times and have always seen many bottle-nosed dolphins. Dolphins so close to a city is unique ! Light meals and refreshments are available on board. Some...More

We went with Dolphin Explorer in the thought that they actually try to find dolphins that we could see. Unfortunately it seemed that it’s more like a lunch cruise ship where people have lunch with the family. The boat goes for 1 hour to the...More

Great day out, around two hours, several music "sessions" on board so lots to here. Reasonable prices for drinks and meals. Didn't see many dolphins on this trip but have been before and seen many.

If you have never been on cruise, this is a good one to try our before you try any big expensive ones. Food is OK plus you do get to see a few dolphins.

I have been on this boat about three times now. It has three levels and you are free to move around as you will. Firstly let me say the crew were really kind to my invalid mother in law and there was a lift from...More

Cheap but even then no value for money. Called Dolphin Explorer but only thing you see and what is being presented are some stories about the industrial activities. Captain being fairly rude as well.

I really enjoyed this tour - saw lots of dolphins and there was plenty of space on the boat to move around and see the water and dolphins from different angles.

Hello Apologies for the late reply. Dolphins are resident in the river all year round. There is no better time specifically to view them. They are wild so therefore no guarantee to see them, however it is rare not to... More
