So enjoyable to ride bareback - a first for most of our group- into the lagoon. The horses enjoyed it too! Snorting like hippos! Unfortunately, we could only walk- insurance has ended anything else these days. Lovely views and helpful staff. A nice experience on this beautiful island.

They are now at La Mer, just before the Epule River on the right hand side of Efate about 1 hours drive north from Port Vila. We did a one hour ride through vanilla, sandalwood and coffee plantations and the guide Owen pointed out the various plants. We wound our way back to the sea and rode along the waters... More

We went for a 2 hour ride along the beach which was lovely and went for a swim with our horse which was loads of fun. My criticism is that we felt like our guide had no interest on being on the ride as he mainly ignored us and we had to keep trying to trot, gallop to make the... More

Absolutely loved the time we spent at L'Hippocampus! The horses were very gentle. And wading into the sea was an incredible sensation.
