Went here for a flying visit while in the area. Good cafe. Good cake. Good coffee. Had a look at the sensory garden. Just starting to come alive for Spring. Didn't have time to explore the grounds. Obviously very popular for dogs to explore. Lovely surrounding countryside. Would go again when more time available.

A lovely country park, no matter what season always different and can be very busy. Pipe band competitions, farming from the past museum and exhibitions. The cafe is run by the same family as the Saplinbrae Hotel, worth a visit.

15 of us came here for a walk, before retiring to the nearby Country Park Inn for lunch. The paths are all level and well maintained and the park is in excellent condition. Various sights included a badger sett, the Victorian arboretum, a lovely river, a lake with ducks and other water birds. Other facilities included picnic areas (open air... More

It was very interesting to see/read/hear about farming in Scotland and this was the main reason we came to the area. We didn't realize it was part of the Aden Country Park so we had "problems" locating it - thinking we weren't in the right place. Just follow the Park signs, though, and you'll be o.k. There is so much... More

Plenty of picnic tables all over the estate, kids adventure playground has everything from toddler to older children's zip slides and chutes. Popular parkland in mintlaw, dog... More
