Chesterfield Farm is a fully working farm and an ideal place to take the family to experience rural farm life, open to the public 7 days a week. It is a site of great regional significance with one of the oldest buildings in the area and a long history of European settlement. Watch working dogs, milking and sheep shearing demonstrations in the all-weather show barn. Children can also pat and handle animals in the nursery. With barbecues, picnic tables and toilets, it is a great place to relax over lunch. The activities and animals at Chesterfield Farm will provide much enjoyment, and a real hands-on experience of farm life. The farm also caters for Birthday Parties, School & Kinder Excursions, Mother's Groups and Playgroups, Christmas Parties and more. Entry fees apply at Chesterfield Farm and concession and family tickets are available. The farm is located off Ferntree Gully Road in Scoresby.

Always a lovely day out, winter or summer. The baby animals shed for the kiddies to get in and have a cuddle with lambs, baby cows and pigs is gorgeous. The sheepdog show is also very interesting and what toddler doesn't love a tractor ride?...More

This is an easy to access farm in the suburbs. There are quite a few animals to see and it is much better to get a yearly pass than purchase a one day ticket. There are always animals to hold or pat in the nursery....More

I don't know if it's lack of finances or lack of staff but Chesterfield farm needs to step up. The animal enclosures were very dirty and looked liked they hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The animals looked sickly. Being a warm day it...More

A nice weekend activity with the young children. Plenty of opportunities for animal feeding and getting up close and personal with horses, ponies, rabbits, goats and pigs. The tractor ride is worth it.

Visited for a couple of hours. My toddler loved the place and was happy running around and looking at the birds and animals, especially the peacock. Nice place to visit for a couple of hours.

Not at all impressed with the attitude of the staff at this farm attraction. While most of the animals are in great health and look very happy the farm could do with a general tidy up. They have a lamb on display in a yard...More
