    A must visit night market.
Great night market, heaps of bargains, prices are a lot cheaper than Bangkok. I bought Ralph Lauren polo shirts at Bangkok market 2 for 1100 baht, cicada night market 2 for 600 baht. Plenty of stalls to choose from for bargains. Great food court with fresh cooked food.

    Great place
This is next to our hotel so was a must to visit. Some great local stalls and live music. We have visited a few markets on our travels here so far. This one was my favourite. Lots of great and cheap food outlets. We will be returning

    Must Visit Once
Good entertainment. Not that great for shopping. Must go for the vibe. 3 live bands playing in Cicada. We enjoyed the main live band and performance. Food here was just ok. Cicada Market is right next to Tamarind market which has many options for great food. So overall a good area to go and chill.

Weekend Night Market near Hyatt in Hua Hin
June - 2024. Visited this weekend night market on several occasions while staying at nearby (50 meters walk) from the Hyatt Regency Hua Hin. Nice experience with plenty of food stall options, souvenirs, clothing, etc. Best part for me was chilling to the live music from several venues. Geared for tourists and priced accordingly of course - but many locals visit for the entertainment. Open FRI,SAT,SUN 1600-2300 hours, free admission, plenty of seating.

    Good family time over wkend.
If you are in Hua Hin over weekend by all means pls go here. Its a lovely set up of music, shopping and food. Very well planned and its perfect to enjoy an evening. We loved it. Highlight was multiple bands playing music from 90s. We didn't try the food but it looked very good. Decent shopping.

    Creative market with live music
Cicada market is a bit outside of town, but you can also easily reach it either by TukTuk or the local bus (direction towards Khao Takiab). Officially the market opens at 4pm, but there’s not really a lot going on in the first hours as the vendors are still setting up their booths. There is a main area where you need pay for everything with coupons, which you can get at the booths near the entrances. If you got some of them left at the end, you can exchange them and get money back before you leave. There’s a stage where you can listen to music or watch magic shows, a flea market, an area where artists paint live, buy handmade goods and of course get drinks and food. I really enjoyed this market, as there are a lot of creative goods and listening to live music is always amazing! We really enjoyed this market and headed here as often as we could!

    Great art market
The market takes place Friday to Sunday. Art (pictures, homemade jewelry and utensils) is offered at many stands. There is also live music and a wide selection of food stalls.

Very nice night market in the middle of nature. Unfortunately not so good in rainy weather as there are hardly any shelters!

Bring an umbrella or pack a rain jacket in your backpack if necessary.

At this night market you first have to buy tokens so that you can buy food or drinks from the vendors. You can pay directly with cash for the art objects or tourist souvenirs on offer there, some of which are great and interesting.

It is important to mention that these tokens are only valid on this day and unused tokens should be exchanged around 30 minutes before closing time!

The focus of this market is art, so there are theater performances, including for children, or performance and magic artists, as well as a lot of live music from local bands.

The prices here are generally a bit more expensive than at the street stalls or in the food courts of shopping centers. Otherwise, it is a great evening for strolling, strolling and enjoying the music, unless it is raining.

In addition to money, it is important to take mosquito repellent and possibly a fan with you.

Visited the market twice but did not try the food since Tamarind Market was directly beside it and had more a a night food market vibe.

Cicada Market gives good hipster vibes with performances (eg. Magic and music). There are also numerous stalls selling goods (eg. Vintage apparel, souvenirs, stickers, figurines, soap etc.) there are also caricature artists and artists plying their trade there.

Food sold here require to be bought via coupons that can be purchased at designated counters. Food are served on proper crockery and there are plenty of seats available but prices are on the high side compared to the aforementioned Tamarind market.

Would recommend this place for a nice walk and photos after dinner at Tamarind market. The area is neatly organised, spacious and very clean.

Came to this Market on our last night in Hua Hin, and we weren't disappointed!! If shopping is your main purpose, then this isn't for you, if its all about, food, listening to some music over a few Cocktails, then I think you will enjoy this place.. Initially we did a walk around to see what was on offer, then grabbed a Cocktail each and listened to a very talented singer, who happened to be blind..
You pay money at a brother and they give you vouchers back with the equivalent $$ amount to use within the market, which is redeemable at the end of the night for any unused..
Its a great place to try different dishes, and there was an area that kept kids thoroughly entertained.. Open Friday to Sunday and definitely worth a visit if you like what the title suggests

Night market combining contemporary art, inventions, handicrafts, home decorations, clothes, second-hand appliances and SME products with creative ideas to display and sell to visitors. The Market is divided into 4 areas. The first area is "A la mode & Idea Shop", a handmade area. The second area is the "Amphitheatre", the open-air semicircle stage for live performances. The third zone is "Art Factory", which collects art products to sell at a reasonable price, and the fourth zone is "Cuisine", which is a Thai restaurant and an international restaurant.
Very popular with tourists, close to Top Level Hotels, prices decidedly higher than in other markets.

Nice market, everything was so nice. Nice things and not a lot of junk and a lot of good food. Everything was well arranged, but if you buy coupons when you arrive that you shop with and have left, you just have to exchange them before you go home. Really recommend this market.

Pretty much a tourist rip-off: mainly tourists from the surrounding (expensive) hotels are lured here, and you're supposed to get the "real" Thai market feeling. The items are significantly more expensive than at other markets and are often only made for tourists anyway. Which Thai would buy a bath bomb or a picture painted with glitter?

The food at the stalls looks better than on the side of the road, but it's not exactly cheap either. All in all: a market that's organized for tourists. A Thai certainly doesn't go shopping here.

We were in La Habana next door for 4 days .. this was an easy choice ..

First night we came as a couple .. explored the arts and crafts ... and ate some excellent street food..

BE CAREFUL .. the Thai concept of a little bit spicy 'Nik Noi' is different to everyone else.. Best ask for it on the side and use it as a dip.

There's a kiddies theatre at one end ..
Adults open air Jazz Bar at the other with live bands . .. Beers BHT 100, Cocktails BHT 200

Area for dancing and kids to play ...

I came back alone to chill on our last night 💯

The Cicada market is located about 7km south of the main part of hua hin. It is mostly a collection of arts and craft items and fashion items. The prices seemed to be expensive and it lacked any of the usual charm and bustle of a regular thai market. They did however have live music in the evening and nice well decorated grounds.

This is a great place to sit, have a drink, and people watch. It’s a very large market that combines food, drink, art, and music beautifully. It’s only open on weekends. It’s well designed and lit with thousands of white lights and filled with white tented vendors. There was no way to see all of it in just a few hours. Before you can buy any food or drink you must stop at the coupon booth because they only take coupons. If you buy too many you can return them for a refund up to an hour before closing. Very enjoyable evening.

I go to Cicada Market every time I go to HuaHin. This market is a busting market that is perfect to coming in group to hangout and relaxes. This market opens in the evening until late at night. This market has a lot of things for sale such as food and artwork. If you like art work, you shouldn’t miss this place. In the part of food, there is a wide variety of food to choose but they are quite expensive. There is sometime have a show, you can have dinner and chill while listening to music that play as a background.
If you want to relax and chill, this is the place that you might want to go.
