This place is amazing, they’ve sculpted in stone, using the old carving methods, more than 90 saints ! And it’s still ongoing. Each saint sculpture is different making them unique, any artists participated. Each statue is huge and is oriented differently. The open air site...More

This was something on my list of 50 things before I turn 50 as it sounded like it'd be quite a spectacle. So far, there are only 300 which is still quite a number. But unless you really understand who the Saints are, they're just...More

We have visited the 'Valley of the Saints" (curiously named as it is on a hill with360` views), on numerous occasions. We are never disappointed! Each visit there are new statues to view and the site is constantly being developed. We have chatted with one...More

The valley of the saints is a unique experience. A collection of almost 100 granite carvings of various saints (including a Cornish St Piran soon to arrive) which are enormous . Standing on a hill (valley??) with outstanding views, these carvings are unique in my...More

An utterly bizarre (and free) exhibition of stone statues placed around a large rotund hillside. When we arrived we couldn't believe how busy this place was. There's nothing not to like about it, but at the same time I don't really understand it's function. Great...More

Fantastic sculptures in a beautiful setting with new sculptures being added every year. Guided tours are organised every day, and in June and September, you can also see the sculptors at work. Pets are welcome and there is disabled access. There is a visitor’s centre...More

Surprised this place doesn't get more publicity in local tourist offices. It's well worth a visit and great to just wander around the huge variety of statues. Very atmospheric even on a sunny day with lots of visitors. Good toilet facilities, a small shop and...More

Be bothered to seek out this free to enter site. La Vallee de Sants sits on a high hilltop with extensive 360degree views of the Breton countryside. Walk amongst the ever increasing number of towering sculptures of the Saints placed on the hilltop by their...More

This was easy to find and is free. There is an ever growing collection of statues here since 2008, overlooking a great view. The statues are all distinct, many named to various local saints. You can also see the workshops where new statues are created.
