Interesting history, worth a visit. Incredible that the well to do should build such a place! Only open on Thursdays!

Check before you visit - open Thursdays - linked with lots of interesting history which is indicated on the information boards. Fabulous little place and totally free.

We visited as we were close by but couldn't get in because we weren't there on a Thursday. You can stil peer through the windows but it's a bit dark to see clearly. So if you want to see if clearly go Thursday. It's quirky...More
