Good experience. We took a guided walking tour in a small group.
The very knowledgeable and welcoming guide showed us all the peculiarities of the park.... Horses, history, vegetation etc.
Seeing the last examples of wild horses is priceless
At the end it is also possible to have lunch with typical products.

Great guided tour with Roberto our Guide who speaks a little French, perfectly to understand the tour. It lasts 2 hours, it’s quite flat you don’t need to be a great athlete to do it. We had the chance to see a lot of wild horses on our way, Roberto explains the nature and the different remains we see. It is very nice and funny I highly recommend this experience, horse lovers do not miss this visit! 30€/2 people.

An experience to be lived accompanied by a guide to fully understand this area. A round of applause to the guide Roberto who, with professionalism and friendliness, made us experience a beautiful trip. On site we ate a platter of delicious local cold cuts and cheeses. Tour of approximately 5km on flat on very easy paths mainly in the shade suitable for anyone.

I can only recommend the early morning tour: there were three of us and Roberto knows where the animals are. He tells the story very vividly and there are also anecdotes that lighten things up.
Two wonderful hours await you. The path is flat but rocky and rooty. It is better to wear sturdy shoes and longer trousers because of the high vegetation.

This is one of the places which you can call “must see” especially if you like nature and horses.
It is a unique place where within two hours walk you can see wild horses, goats and sheep, hear wild pigs rumbling through the bushes and evidence some old shepherd houses.
Guided tour by Roberto is well organized and I advise to stay for local dinners afterwards for the complete experience.
We enjoyed it very much!

Evocative and beautiful experiences with the expert and friendly guidance of Roberto and the help of the young Andrea. Despite the very hot day, the 2-hour walk on the plateau was pleasant and exciting, especially with the sighting of the Giara horses on the Pauli Maiori pond. Absolutely not to be missed!!!

With competence, courtesy and availability we were guided by Roberto in the beautiful Giara park. In addition to the typical buildings intended for use by shepherds, we had the opportunity to appreciate the many varieties of plants and wild horses. Simple walk recommended for everyone, even families with children.

Written 17 May 2018

si possono portare i cani all escursione?
Written 27 October 2017
