Get in touch with wildlife at Maru where you can pat and hand feed many of the animals. Pat a koala and feed the albino kangaroos, see wombats, Tasmanian devils, dingoes, snakes and more native animals. Then set sail on an adventure at Pirate Pete’s Mini-golf as you putt your way around the Pirate Ship, encounter life-size Pirate figures, the Great White Shark and brave the gold mine under the waterfall. Not big but spent a couple of hours enjoying the zoo. Kids held an emu egg, hand feeding alpaca, kangaroos & wallabies, ranger talks and a personal photo with a koala. Kids loved it. Cafe had great coffee and food.More

It was not a big zoo but entertaining and informative enough for kids to experience direct encounter with australian native animals. My kids really impressed feeding kangaroos, wallabies and llamas in the park.

If you want to book ahead give them call and inform them if its a large group its better to book ahead. Also you can email them as well.
