This Bodega has part of a Mendoza’s history. Small company but the founders are envolved with wine production from many years. I had a private tour and was an amazing experience. And you can enjoy an Art Gallery for local artista in the same place.
My friend and i booked a full-day wine tour with Trout and Wine (which was excellent by the way) where we met Emilie. Right away, we noticed she knew quite a bit about wine and Argentina as a whole. She could speak French, English and...More

Thank you very much for your opinion. We are glad to know that you enjoy the tour at CARO!
My cousin Joe and I visited Caro and we were given a Private Tour by the Winemaker at the time (2005). I can't remember her name, but she was a Beautiful Argentine Woman. She told about wine as we tasted it. Very nice.

Thank you very much for your opinion!
This was our second trip to Mendoza and we wanted to visit relatively unknown wineries. Bodegas Caro got out attention for its location downtown, sharing the same old building next to Escorihuela Gascon and for being part of the Lafite Rothschild family of wines.

Bodegas CARO was our family's first Mendoza winery tour and we were most pleased to be able to enjoy the tasting in the cellar. Gianina was a gracious and knowledgeable hostess and we were very happy with the experience, the wines and the setting.
