About
Grant Burge is a proud Barossa winery dedicated to crafting award-winning wines. Planting their roots in the Barossa Valley in 1865, the Burge’s began as a family of devoted vignerons. For five generations, they spent their days toiling the lands, understanding the soil, and from it growing grapes that would become the most luxurious of wines. Today our winemakers make generous wines to inspire generosity in others; to encourage them to share in the giving moment of Grant Burge. The Grant Burge Cellar Door is housed within the historic Meshach Cellar, nestled in the vineyards at the top of Krondorf Road. Boasting panoramic views of the surrounding Barossa Valley, our Cellar Door is a magnificent setting to taste an extensive range of Grant Burge wines.

    Excellent host and nice wines
Lovely contemporary tasting room with views over the vineyards. Host was really welcoming, knowledgeable and delivered the tasting professionally with in depth chat about the wines, background and local area. Good wines too.

    Superb visit
Jodie was our wine tasting guide. She is so welcoming, engaging and knowledgeable in Grant Burge wines as well as with the local Barossa information. It’s a beautiful understated property and they are masters of Shiraz wine production.

    Beautiful views and excellent service
We were the only people there when we did our tasting but the service was excellent!! we felt like VIP's from the moment we walked in and although we were already big fans of the Grant Burge reds and sparklings we came away with a better appreciation of the S.A wine regions, the varietal characters and found some new favourites in the white wine options. I stronly recommend coming here for a meal as well as a tasting, the views from the cellar door/restaurant are wonderful.

We started off our day at this amazing cellar door with the wine and chocolate tasting! it was just superb - beautiful wine and chocolates. Our hostess was fantastic and made the whole experience most enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend as a must when in the Barossa!

A Great Way to Spend Time in the Barossa
Booked for the Icons of Grant Burge tasting. It was a wonderful experience on a cold and wet day in the Barossa. Jodie was very knowledgeable and made the experience thoroughly enjoyable. We spent a couple of hours learning about Grant Burge wines and left with lighter wallets as we purchased a number of bottles. Great to get free delivery as we were travelling north.

Early morning wine tasting in a lovely venue
We hadn’t booked in for a tasting so we’re glad we got here at 10am - opening time. We were greeted by Jodie as she was picking roses at the front door for the tables inside. Jodie was welcoming, knowledgeable and fun to do our tastings with. The wine was great also 😃

Grant Burge Cellar Door chocolate and wine pairing
A small cellar door in the Barossa Valley with beautiful wines, the favourite on our hop-on-hop-off tour. The Bliss Chocolates paired beautifully with the wines making for a great value not to be missed experience. Highly recommend!

Lovely new cellar door, beautiful view of the new grenache vineyard and of course, fabulous wines.
Really glad we visited. The cellar door is surrounded by a young looking grenache vineyard. Generous wine tasting experience. Our tasting guide let us taste some back vintages which were superb. My first tasting of the Nebu and yhe Abednego remains fabulous.

Attended the Grant Burge Sparkling Sunday Breakfast Package. Staff were wonderful (as always!) and food was delicious. The three sparkling wines matched to the breakfast were a great way to start a Sunday, though 8:30am felt a little early! Perhaps a 'Sparkling Sunday Brunch'? One minor point - the salmon eggs benedict was cold, prefer at least the hollandaise to be warm, but that's my personal preference.

Excellent venue, wonderful wines and great value. My one negative would be that the person 'hosting' us was hosting two different tables at the same time. This meant we were sitting around for some time in between tastings. We actually had to get going and were pressed for time, so in the end this was a bit frustrating. I think it would be better to group different groups together and talk to everyone all at the same time rather than the parties having to keep waiting. Otherwise excellent!

Great location, VIP service and fantastic wines with a couple of extra tastings thrown in given that the host listened to our comments and tailored the tasting to take beyond what was set - truly worth making a day of it with the only thing missing being a cot to sleep off the euphoria although we could have laid on the lawn and watched the wedge tail eagles "thermaling"

Had booked tasting session. Service level not to that of all other cellar doors we visited at Barossa Valley. Explanation was short harsh. Wine poured and 'there you go'... Nice setting though. Pity!

We had an amazing time at Grant Burge! Jodie was as our host for the tasting - she was a perfect combination of warm, knowledgable, humorous and interesting!

She (alongside the delicious wines!) made the tasting one of the best of all those we have done during our time in Australia!
