The site is a factory with shops. The shopping is good and with the factory shops there were some good bargains to be had. We also attended the factory demonstration ( the main factory was closed as it was a Saturday) it was really good. Very informative and very well presented. Our guide was called Dan and he was really... More

I learned quit a lot about the History of the place and it was quite interactive because we were able to make our own frogs for free but the plates we made come with a price to take home because it had to go in the kiln and could be taken home at a later date. Overall, a good place.

We took my granddaughter on one of the Denby Pottery Paint A Pot visits and we found everyone at the factory to be extremely helpful. The ladies in the Paint A Pot couldn't have been more helpful. The lady showed my granddaughter what she could do, all the kit needed for the Pait A Pot was laid out and ready... More

Without easy access to the interesting factory this just becomes a shopping trip albeit a good one if you like denby ware and are looking for a bargain. The factory is bookeable for a visit but I think they are missing a trick as most customers are walk ins and will not pre book. The lady in the pottery painting... More

You can do tours of the pottery. There is also a large factory shop. Also a glass shop and a food and souvenir emporium. The usual restaurant.

The Denby visitors centre is part of the working factory. We went on the factory tour which was informative and enthusiastically shown round by our knowledgeable guide. The restaurant was reasonably priced, and the farm shop had an impressive display of local produce.

We had nothing to do for a day and hadn't been to Denby Pottery Factory for a few years, (we live within a few miles) It was a nice trip out and spent a couple of hours there and had a nice cup of coffee. The Pottery has a factory shop for pottery, glassware, outside garden pots, farm shop and... More

Having first known this pottery 40 years ago, it is always a pleasure to revisit this site. The main Denby shop is well situated from the car park and sets itself out very well, showing items off in a premier arena. This leads to the factory outlet which sells first quality, slight seconds and associated kitchen ware. The extent of... More

Please note that Denby are no longer doing their cookery demonstrations. The restaurant however is very good and worth a visit. Since my last visit the shops have changed, you still have the best China shop, the seconds shop which is excellent and a fancy goods shop ( scarves, bags cards etc). There is also a glassware shop. There is... More

Don't live far from this place, its beautiful with so much to do for all ages. Nice big free car park. The staff have always been so friendly and helpful with any questions you have. The gift shop is quirky (christmas decorations) and other great things to buy. I personally loved the live cooking demos but heard they are not... More
