Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I'm so glad we added this bit of Ireland to our trip. The beauty is indescribable. I couldn't stop gasping at the scenery on the drive to the fjord. This is a must see on any visit to Ireland!

Killary Fjord is stunning, whether you do the cruise from Nancy's Pier or whether you drive along the road leading out of Leenane.
There are a good few viewing points along the road that are well worth stopping at, but definitely do the catamaran cruise if you have the time. Stunning place.

If you're looking at this review, you've probably already decided to visit the Fjord or Leenane or one of the towns along its banks, in which case all I can do is agree with you that it is a place of outstanding beauty.
Enjoy!

While out exploring and following advice from friends we drove along the Killary Fjord and ended up stopping for a wonderful meal at the Blackberry Cafe. The fjord is truly a sight to see, almost breathtaking at times. If your in this area of Ireland you must at least drive along the shore or take the cruise (we didn't take the cruise but on a nice day I'm sure it's fantastic), & eat at the Blackberry Cafe.

WE could only take photos as the cruise was not working in March. I think it operates between April to October

Highly enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half. This was a second choice decision but is now a first choice recommendation. Absolutely beautiful scenery.

Beautiful fjord overlooked by the brooding Mweelrea mountain, with the charming village of Leenane at one end and the stunning beaches of Glassilaun Beach and Uggool Beach at the other end where the fjord meets the Atlantic.
