We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A world of wonderful contemporary Irish art, crafts, gifts and even antiques.

It was great to see so many media including paintings, lino-cuts, etchings, ceramic work, jewellery and more. Plus there were a great many prints, already framed for a good price. Art products such as good pencils and paints were on sale and the antiques were widely varied and all beautiful from furniture to silver spoons.

The gift shop area was coming down with local crafts including stunning woven blankets, jewellery, stained glass and leather work. Plus fun tourist and children's items.

The owner was really very friendly and helpful indeed.

This place has been on the go since I was a nipper in the 70's, and it's just as good as it always was with a lovely mix of original art, local craft-work and quality gifts. It's certainly not huge, so I recall my parents keeping me on a tight-noose, and that's still the case. For me, this place is an iconic part of a visit to Donegal!

I had picked up a brochure in our room at the Mill House and so stopped in. There was a collection of antiques and some. Nice Irish gifts. The shop keeper was delightful to talk to

The Gallery is a great place to browse for as long as you like. One section is dedicated to some classy artwork, the other to quality souvenirs with no “kiss me quick” tat. The couple who own the place are friendly and welcoming and will usually remember if you have been before, even if it is 5 years since you last visited. Pop in when you are in Dunfanaghy, it is on the road out towards Falcarragh, just before the workhouse.

Over the years the Gallery is our go-to place in north Donegal when we have overseas visitors. The combination of lovely paintings on sale, beautiful antiques and collectables and the crafts gift shop covers all our visitors needs. Keep up the good work.

Much more variety of art than in previous visits. Some more modern pieces alongside the more traditional water colours and oils. Some nice pottery and giftware also available.
