The main beach in Kilkee has a horse-shoe shape, which means that it is very safe for children, further west of the beach, the toddlers were preoccupied fishing in the little rock pools, coaxing 'pinkies'.. tiny fish and crabs into their little fishing nets! On...More

One of the nicest beaches I've ever been on - waves come in circular - like ripples from throwing a stone - gently sloping, great views, plenty of amenities

Moore Bay in Kilkee is lovely! Way too cold for me to go in - but there were some brave souls? I do wish people would take their rubbish home with them though!!

The beach was littered with jellyfish, but other than that the sand was white and clean, other than the usual seaweed and rocks. Walks along the strand are enjoyable and calming. Fabulous to sit on the sand and watch the tide roll in.
