Absolutely breathtaking. Got a great day for it, too, so were extra 🍀 lucky. Look out for the dragonflies.

Not far from the lovely village of Ardara, along a quiet beautiful drive is this amazingly beautiful waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Ireland. There's a small parking space, and a little bridge nearby. It's both peaceful and exhilarating.

You can't miss this as you drive past it to get to beach. Great stop for photos. There is also a place to pull off to park.

Very relaxing and peaceful place - my parents had been before, but it wouldn't have been too difficult to find regardless

One of the most majestic scenes I have had the pleasure to have seen. On its day the waterfall has a flow that goes from tranquil to ferocious, both equally beautiful.

Drive down here often to just sit and unwind. Last time I was there I seen lots of young teenagers diving in and out of the pool in their wet suits. They were having a lot of fun. Lovely spot for a picnic.

Heading from Ardara to killybegs in Co. Donegal, about a mile outside of town, there is a right hand turn which will eventually take you to Maghera beach, the waterfall is on this road, you can't miss it.
