With a 23m fall the flow over these Falls during freshet is around 9/10 of the flow over Niagara. Very impressive (we visited in spring) - apparently most of the water goes to hydro power the rest of the year. Lots of excellent viewing platforms....More

This was the second visit to the falls. My first was in the spring 43 years ago. What a difference time makes! But still attractive spot. To my dismay, buildings have encroached on the beautiful spot. 43 years ago it was surrounded by trees. This...More

If visiting Grand Falls, a must to visit the Falls and Gorge. Best view of falls in spring when there is plenty of after. Also the zip line (Zip Zag) over the falls a great experience.

If you are looking for a spectacular view of rushing waters, waves, and cliffs then you have to visit the Grand Falls Gorge. You will not be disappointed. The Falls is also very beautiful this time of year.

After a dry summer and fall the water flow is very low and this was beautiful in its own way. Not really open this late in the season but then its not crowded so enjoyed that.

One could see how these falls could be impressive. A gorge filled with huge fallen rocks, with a roaring river tumbling down the falls. The problem we had was no water. Well, if truth be told, there was very little water. Just not enough to...More

Good photo op if you like being around water. A bit of walking but if your in not too bad of health take your time. It's nice to see nature.

Great scenery, especially in the Wells and Rocks section. Beautiful even when the water is not running through the falls. Climb down 400 stairs into the gorge and see the power and wonders of mother nature.

We stopped in Grand Falls for the night, heading to the Cabot Trail. We walked down to the gorge and is beautiful. Worth the stop if you're driving through.
