St Patrick’s well is beside the village of Marlfield, just outside of Clonmel tradition has it that Saint Patrick passed through here and may have used this spring to baptise the locals.

A beautiful spot to visit. Summer or winter. Quiet, peaceful grounds with natural spring water bubbling through. A place for a quiet retreat from the world for a few moments to enjoy the natural nature of your surroundings. An amazing place for photographers.

Took a trip to this beautiful area last wkend and loved tbe peace and quiet here. You can get into the water and pray or just sit on the side and medicate.

Unfortunately the geographical reality of this beautiful spot negates access, the steps down are very steep and are difficult for anyone with physical difficulties, however just to stop at the top of the steps and look down... More
