we have lived in clonmel for over 20 yrs and this was our first visit to careys castle - we had often heard about it and at one time lived only a couple of miles from it - but had never ventured to see it...More

I love in Clonmel so have been visiting Careys Castle for nearly 30yrs. I love going up there. Great place to walk dogs or walk a few trails. Kids will have a good time wandering the forest. Great views up there and good pics to...More

While Carey's castle is on the small side as far as castles go it is a wonderful spot to visit with a lovely walk through the woods. There are a lot of little places to explore and no area is off limits.
