Wonderful relaxing place. Did the short river walk and just sat and chilled at various points. Car parking available however it’s only 10mins walk from Glengarriff Really nice way to spend a couple of hours

Brilliant and Safe location to bring young hiking groups. We covered 20 Km and climbed to Barley Lake which was challenging. Just beware of Bad weather descending.

The easy walk was beautiful and peaceful. We had 6 children in tow and they skipped stones in the serene river, ran along the paths and throughly enjoyed themselves. We enjoyed a picnic in this picturesque place. Beautiful!
