My mother and I stopped on our Irish roadtrip to stretch our legs at Glengariff Woods and what a beautiful walk we had! There are many trails, ranging from short walks to longer ones, and the map is easy to follow. We were greeted with beautiful Irish scenery out of a fairytale book. I would definitely recommend a stop here.... More

Just outside Glengariff on the road to Kenmare. Several walks are well laid out and you can pick up on some routes around the Beara Way here. We went up to Lady Bantry's Lookout - a bit of an uphill walk but not too long and well worth it for lovely views of Bantry Bay from the top.
