We meant only to stop in for a pint and ended up spending 3 hours. The barman was fun and engaging, offering local history and flare. Pay your homage to the picture of Jimmy as you warm by the fire. Returning very soon!

A great Irish pub full of friendly people and great drinks. We came in as strangers and left feeling like friends. Thoroughly recommended.

Nicely integrated with the Hatters Lane Restaurant downstairs. This pub has an old world feel to it. Loads of interesting antiques on display. Good drink and service and is now under new management.

A pub full of old world character, great beer and sitting by the door we could watch the Friday night comings and goings of all the revellers - great atmosphere.

We loved this pub so much that we visited it for 3 consecutive days. The staff are efficient, knowledgeable and friendly (especially Kelly). The food here is outstanding! We had the chilli con carne, Thai curry and chowder (more than once) and all were delicious.
