Nice Abbey

This Abbey is really worth a visit, pretty well preserved and a fair amount history to be learned. If taking photographs is your thing then this is a phenomenal place for pictures.

A great, well-preserved price of history. I'd probably not go on a really rainy day as it's outside but lovely views from up above and so many things to admire. Great ruin and I'll visit again.

Take a step back in time and see what life was like in the 13th and 14th centuries. Short drive from Kilkenny and worth it. Free with OPW card. We got a written guide from the office that really made the experience come alive for us. Don't miss.

This is a well preserved abbey. However there are not a lot of information on why the abbey was there for, who was living there, etc.

Very interesting place to visit. Love the carvings and what is being done to preserve the abbey. We found it a great place to walk around and enjoy the scenery and the abbey and let your imagination go back in time. Lovely.

An interesting relic of times gone by, the exhibition offers a good introduction to the abbey's history.

We visited in October and were lucky enough to have the abbey almost to ourselves which was amazing. This is a Cistercian abbey, founded in the second half of the 12th century. It's well kept with entry fees.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stop here, such an amazing place! This is a cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century and the detail in the stone work is quite intricate.
