Titanic Experience Cobh is a permanent visitor centre, located in the original White Star Line Ticket Office in the centre of Cobh town (formally known as Queenstown) in what was the departure point for the final 123 passengers who boarded the Titanic. Our visitor experience is presented in two parts. The first is an exciting immersive audio visual tour retracing the steps of the 123 passengers who boarded Titanic from Queenstown on April 11th 1912. Experience their anticipation of the long journey ahead and their new life waiting in America. With Fourth Officer Boxall as your virtual guide and using innovative audio visual technology and replica set designs, ‘passengers’ will experience what life would have been like on board for those 123 Queenstown Passengers. Passengers will share the excitement of boarding the most Luxurious liner of her time and feel the horror of the tragedy on that fateful night on the 15th April 1912.

This was the first time my wife and I visited this type of attraction , not being museum goers or anything like that. But we said what the hell and went for it . It was our first visit to Cobh so we said we might as well try it out. It was very good the tour guide was very... More

Really enjoyed re-enacting "my voyage" on the Titanic. The idea is fun, and you get a pretty good idea of what the experience may have been like. The tour could have been a little longer and more in depth.

It was with such optimism and excitement that the Titanic left Queenstown in April 1912 for the voyage to New York. No one could have known the dreadful fate that awaited a few days later. Located in the former ticket office of the White Star Line, the museum gives a searing account of the background, the enormous scale of the... More

Visiting the Titanic Experience in Cobh allowed me to visualize on a more personal level of who the passengers were who perished on the ship. We were each given a ticket with a passengers name and at the end of the tour you found out if you survived the tragedy. It made me feel sad when I found out that... More

The Titanic guided tour starts as soon as you book a ticket. You're issued with a replica of the real ticket which includes details of an actual passenger who boarded; their name, age, and their class cabin. This brings the experience of Titanic to life! You learn about the type of cabins and the deep inequalities of the working and... More

We were recommended the Titanic Experience by fiends on our visit to Cork. The experience is based in the actual building and ticket office which was in operation when the Titanic sailed from Cobh in 1912. The visit was interactive with a joint presentation from the ticket sales lady and a virtual officer who accompanies the visitors along the journey.... More

I really enjoyed being given a character card and finding out at the end that I either lived or died. The information was thorough and interesting. Sadly the last video about the lifeboats wasn't working, but it didn't detract from the experience. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. It is worth the 30min trip from Cork!

There's a lot of positives here, the displays, photographs and exhibition points are all great and should definitely be visited based on that merit. The staff were very friendly too in fact. The reason for my harsh score however is that the tour element was incredibly badly paced, the first 2 - 3 stops were fine but afterwards the tour... More
