We decided to make a trip to Cobh to trace the last steps of the Titanic. And what a lovely morning spent looking around the ticket hall, along the harbour, around the band stand area, lots of information about the beautiful liner...whilst moving and sad it was a humbling experience to sit in the memorial gardens looking out to sea.... Michael is a charming, knowledgeable gentleman who is so clearly passionate about history- his enthusiasm is contagious and the past of this beautiful town really comes alive in this tour which is about a lot more than the Titanic. Highly recommended!

Michael Martin is a world renowned expert on all things Titanic (& Olympic. Britanic. Lusitania and more). A contributor to hundreds of Titanic documentaries and active on the speaking circuit. He is a natural orator with an endearing warm interactive style; who explains things very clearly and then goes as deep as you like. We loved every minute of our... More

The guide we had was very good. Aideen waited when we missed the train and gave us many great information that were fun and informative. The tour was filled with facts as well as small things that many people didn't know about. When in Cobh go on a titanic trail tour!

Pat was a very informative guide and went out of his way to accommodate all levels of walkers (one chap in a wheelchair - a challenge in a very hilly town). We were here for a tour about the Titanic (Cobh being its last port of call on its fateful journey) but we learned also about the topedoing in the... More

Call here for something to do on Sunday and what a jewel. We were stuck for time and almost walked out as the place was busy and the next tour was booked out. But the staff were great with a suggestion to do the exhibition first (which comes at the end of the tour) while we wait. Great suggestion, thanks.... More

I spoke to Michael before arriving to Cobh and he was super helpful. We were just a couple minutes late coming from Waterford, so I called from the car and they were nice enough to wait. We parked right in front of the Commedore Hotel, it could'nt have been easier. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip... More

We're in Cork on Honeymoon. We visited Cobh and rang the tour line. Michael rang us back and booked us on the 11.00am tour. Tom is very friendly and helpful. The tour covers far more than the Titanic - the Lusitania disaster had more of an impact on the people here. Cobh itself is a lovely town and well worth... More

Tom was an excellent guide of Cobh telling us about its history, The Titanic and other tragedies and history of the town - just two of us on the tour so we were spoilt to get his undivided attention.
