I drove the Kerry Peninsula, Beara Peninsula and Sheep's Head Peninsula. This was the least picturesque of the 3. It's worth the drive if driving the Irish countryside is what you want to do.

Amazing Walking and Hikes, Truly beautiful sights to see and the Sea Air is refreshing. From the start to finish, I would say that it is definitely one to do and one to remember

We drove out on the peninsula on our way from Kenmare to Kinsale and are so happy that we did. We wanted to take a break from some of the more typical sightseeing stops and do a moderate hike. It was a lovely drive out/...More

I had some expectation but this peninsula really was worthy the hike. Friendly people everywhere and when we thought we had a grip of the pretty views, we turned the "corner" at the lighthouse, looked northeast and really got our breath taken away. Highly recommendable...More

There are so many trails that you can spend a month there. We did a 14km trail, one of the most difficult ones we've done, but it was worth it. The views are outstanding!

Great place to explore and hike. We were there in March and it was damp. No surprises. We stayed in Kilcrohane. There are some good hiking loops from there. A few B&Bs, 2 pubs and a basic general store.

Hi Ships Head is fantastic for cycling. We stayed there two time (as walkers) and always could watch cycling tourists making there way. The streets are calm with good ground, sometimes you have to climb little hills. On top... More
