Me, my husband, and our two good friends set off on a trek to Cleire goat farm on what our B&B hostess called a "soft day" in early August. By the time we got to the farm, the weather had turned considerably less friendly, and...More

A special place to visit. Besides the stunning views back over West Cork, you can witness Ed milking goats by hand while singing to them and referring to each goat by name (27 of them while we were there), which is made all the more...More

The owner was warm and welcoming and the ice cream was to die for! The baby goats were adorable but the milking process was very rustic - it is charming to see this is still doen this way!

My husband and I worked at Cliere Goats for a summer through the WWOOF program. Not only is Cape Clear (Cleire) on of the most beautiful places on earth but when you make it to the top of it's toughest hill you get rewarded with...More

Climbed the mother of all hills at 9:30 in the morning to see the milking. Got to try my hand at milking, played with very bouncy babies, sat with the relaxed mammies as if I was just part of the herd and got a brief...More

A hidden gem of a place that needs more publicity. We visited the goat farm with 3 kids under the age of 5 and they absolutely loved it. We were met by Vera who showed us round and shared her stories like naughty Alfie who...More
