Informative 30 minute movie. Good homemade meals available. Small interesting exhibition. Small gift shop. That's about it. Seems to be made just for the tour busses. We wish the weather would have cooperated and we could have seen and climbed Skellig Michael first hand.

Visited here with family. We only visited the museum and watched the short, informative, movie. While the Experience Center was informative I felt it was a little pricey for what was there. A small museum with a nice gift shop. when included with the boat...More

Our boat tour to The Skellings was a magical journey and definitely exceeded our expectations. My husband and I had planned our 12 day driving tour of Ireland to bring us to visit The Skellings by boat. We had heard all the worrisome stories of...More

When we arrived in Portmagee the day before our scheduled landing trip to Skellig Michael, we heard that they hadn’t been able to land on the island so far this season and may not be able to the next day either. We decided to walk...More

We enjoyed our visit to the Skellig Experience. The video was interesting and entertaining. The small museum was interesting as well.

We had a landing tour of Skellig Michael scheduled but the waves were too choppy for a visit. In fact it was too rough for a tour around the skellig either. So we visited here instead. The film was good and gave a nice history...More

Easy walk from our BnB Carraig Liath. Plenty of interesting exhibits and videos prior to seeing the 10 minute video Video could be a lot more informative. So it can be skipped.

It's a brief movie, but very informative. There is a lot of information with the displays, highlighting the history of the area. Reasonably priced, easy to find.

Very interesting visitors Centre with short film explaining the origin of the remains on the Islands. Unfortunately the weather was not in our favour and the boat trips were not running.

In the small seaside village of Portagee and directly across the bridge to the island of Chapeltown lies the Skellig Experience. Educational. Further off the coast are the two islands, both nearly impossible to traverse due to their nearly vertical cliff jutting out of the...More

Very large bridge, which you can also drive across, it is the main route into Valentia Island. You can get a boat too, but it is not really necessary, you can walk, there is a path/sidewalk/pavement on the Bridge.
