Getting there is an exciting drive, along some narrow fuschia lined lanes where you run the risk of being run into by local farmers in their tractors as they go about their daily tasks. The mountain is not a true one - it is too...More

First I thought it was a bit pricey just to see some views, but at 5 euro per car, not per person, it turned out to be worth it. There are several viewpoints and lots of information signs.

We paid to take car up to a parking point higher up mountain as had back issues. We walked around the circular path and then to the peak. It was windy but view was clear so we were fortunate, took plenty photos all round of...More

This is a fabulous Cliff walk with magnificent views, can't believe I'd never heard of it, well worth a visit while on Valentia. You have to pay 5 euro per car but it is worth it. So peaceful, with great views of the Skelligs

This place is an absolute gem. Big portion of the West Coast can be seen. Many main Valencia sites can be seen too. Theres a small fee at the entrance but totally worth. Can get breezy at the top!

Once you are at the top, give yourself some time to enjoy the views! It's easy to get there, you can decide to walk up from the bottom carpark (30 min walk) or to drive to the summit. Bear in mind the carpark cost €5...More

If you enjoy easy to moderate hiking and breathtaking scenery you must explore Valencia (Valentia) Island. We were impressed by Geokaun Mountain and Fogher Cliffs. Skip St. Brendan's well. The farmer closed the last part of the road when we tried to drive there.

Read lots of reviews about Geokaun and it lived up to expectations and then some. We decided to park the car at the bottom and walk up the trail on foot. It was a particularly dry and sunny day and the views from the top...More

Great views and great to be able to drive all the way up when you have young children. We were surprised to be charged and hadn’t anticipated this but very friendly staff 👍
