Located just outside the village of Glenbeigh, not much remain of Wynn's castle. The walls of Wynn’s Castle dating back to 1797 are still standing, beyond that its's up to your imagination and the pictures below. The view of Glenbeigh and its environs can be seen from this old ruin and memories of days gone by can be visualised. It... More

The place is hard to find, no signs directing you there and the map available in the main street useless. When we found it it turned out to be inaccessible surrounded by private properties and camper park. Disappointment.

A beautiful castle ruin. View it from both sides if you can. One day a horse was sticking his head right thru one of the openings, as if he were King of the Castle. It was perfect!

They recomeneded I should walk through the caravan park, hop the fence and tip toe around the pasture and check out the castle. Now it might not be everyones idea of a good time but... More

A must stop for all Glenbeigh traveler. I had the pleasure of spending a sunset here taking photographs and really enjoyed the evening. An easy walk and so worth the effort.
