There are so many pretty things to see in this area, and I am disappointed our tour group wasted our time visiting Bog Village. The thatched buildings are occupied by creepy mannequins and the stores in the little town are not open. If real people...More

I tried finding something good about the place, but failed miserably after I completed the complete tour. Checked with a few others who went along & realized that most shared my opinion. IMHO, it was a waste of my money & can be avoided completely.

This is a small replica of a bog village. There are several re-created buildings to walk through, some peat bog information, some antique tools, some ponies and some Irish Wolfhound dogs to visit. There was some good information provided, and it was interesting. This was...More

Perhaps if we had not already spent a week in Ireland, this might have been interesting. While my friend liked it, I just felt it was a 1950's quality farm, that charged a lot of money, for comparatively little. We really didn't learn anything new...More

Stopped here and was most interested in the cottage layout. A great insight into the lives of our forefathers. The video of the peat cutting was extremely good and insightful. Recommend.
