First it is an interesting building to see and go through. Second, the amount of history here is amazing. Loved seeing the old photos.

This volunteer manned, and free admission museum, is a must see - and not only to help support those who keep the exhibits available. The information and artifacts surrounding the Luisitania sinking off the coast of nearby Old Head are worth the time and effort. By chance we came upon the museum and after an initial chat with the very nice man at the gate climbed the stairs into the museum main chamber which was until the mid 90's the local court house, as explained by a very nice helpful lady. We were glad we took the time to visit, thank you.

Very interesting historical artifacts which complement Dermot Ryan's excellent history of the area in his Kinsale heritage town walks.

A small museum run by volunteers but full of amazing artefacts and some shipping history upstairs. Well worth a visit with friendly staff ready to give any information requested.

Dropped in as we were passing as we explored Kinsale. Downstairs has some interesting stuff although it's a bit dusty and cluttered. Upstairs is better laid out and has a well-organised L>lusitania exhibition, which is very informative and worth the visit on its own. The museum is free and run by volunteers - be sure to leave a donation so... More

This is a small museum, but filled with lots of information about the Lusitania and the town of Kinsale. There was also a giant of a man many years ago and they have his shoes and eating utensils on display and an interesting outline that you can stand next to and compare yourself to his size. I made it almost... More
